Maximum Infrared Emissivity
Throughout the Blanket is a carbon fiber heating element which produces far infrared heat in the range of 6-14 microns, which is the optimum range for the benefits of infrared heat.
As well, a bed of 96 smooth Jade & Tourmaline stones helps to absorb and then evenly disperse heat across the blanket, creating a thorough heat experience.
Besides dispersing the heat, Jade & Tourmaline also naturally emit negative ions when heated up, thereby encouraging a relaxing and peaceful sauna experience.
Negative ions are naturally occurring particles typically found in environments people find relaxing (Eg, rainforests, the beach and waterfalls are all environments high in negative ions).
EMF Blocking Technology
Electromagnetic fields (EMFs) are unnatural, artificial fields, and it is recommend by the EPA and other global health/environmental organizations that people limit exposure in daily life. We believe that natural is best and this is why we developed the JuvaHeat with EMF blocking technology.
We are not just 'low' EMF, but instead are effective at blocking out magnetic fields across the entire blanket. We’ve worked hard to make our blankets the safest anywhere.
Certified Non-Toxic Materials
Unlike other sauna blankets that use PU leather (fake/vegan leather made from polyurethane), the Heat Healer has a premium amide fabric, independently tested by SGS against over 197 common toxic substances.
The problem with PU leather is that it is made from solvents and glues, which leave it prone to off-gassing when heated up.
Amide fabric (which the JuvaHeat uses) is the same material that gets used by NASA in an astronaut's spacesuit, for firefighters uniforms and in military applications.

Included with your JuvaHeat is a travel bag, waterproof head pillow, a small hand-held controller and user guide.
Blanket dimensions:
The JuvaHeat is designed to comfortably fit someone up to 6'6" tall and 300lbs (136kg). The blanket is 75" long and has a circumference of 69" when in use.
Package weight: The box the JuvaHeat comes in weighs 24lbs (11kg). The device also comes with a convenient travel bag.

Cleaning:
Keeping the JuvaHeat clean is easy. First, we always recommend to lay a towel down inside, on top of the stones. This gets 90% of the job done as you just sweat into the towel (much like you would in a normal sauna).
Then, when you are done with your sauna session, all you have to do is wipe it down with any surface spray product or natural cleaning solution (eg, tea tree oil mixed with water is a great natural remedy).
