Let me start by saying that Juvawave hasn't given me a dime for this review. Secondly over the past 2 years I have purchased over $7000 worth of items and products and this is the 1st time I have felt compelled to write a review. I am 52 years old and started noticing a gradual patch of hair loss on the front of my for about 10 years until now its a very noticeable ball spot. I used to just spray the black hair dye on it when I wore my hair longer on top but got tired of messy pillows and it only lasting a day. I started just keeping it very low almost bald but not quite which worked to conceal the ball spot but after a week of growth it becomes noticeable again. So recently I started doing research on various procedures and come across the Laser Light hats and helmets. I decided on the Juvawave helmet after reading reviews with much skepticism I might add. I wasn't expecting the outcome that has happened so far and it's really almost beyond belief how fast my hair growth has started. The 2 pictures are before and after using the helmet. The wife and daughter both noticed as well as myself that this product is working. I understand that everyone is different but hair growth after 2 uses is absolutely amazing. I am pleased so far and wanted to tell my story. I will give a 1 month update as well. The pictures were uploaded but are backwards in terms of the review meaning the growth is on the 1st two pictures. Just for clarification.
It's only been a little over 2 months, I haven't been as dedicated to using it as I should be and I am definitely seeing results none the less. I have been dealing with thinning hair since I was 17 or so and after having a baby and then a hysterectomy, I really thought there was no hope. I have had success with rogain in the past (before pregnancy) but I wanted to try this before I started that again. I have new growth everywhere and my hair looks a little crazy right now but I'm confident this will continue to help. I will definitely update this in a few months.
Update: It has been about 3 months of semi regular use, I have added photos to show progress. The first picture is within a couple weeks of beginning use, the second is at 2 months and the 3rd is a current photo. It might not look like much but I notice a HUGE difference. I have a ton of new baby hairs and my shedding has gotten so much better. I have a 1 year old son and I have a hard time finding enough time to sit still and use this. I would think that if I used it like I should, the difference would be more noticeable. My husband even commented yesterday that he can see the difference.
